ATLANTA MARKETING VIDEOS: HOW TO EMBED YOUTUBE VIDEOS ON YOUR WEBSITE AND IMPROVE YOUR SEO11/21/2013
So you've produced a great video, uploaded it to YouTube, and you're ready to add it to your website. Now what? In this blog we'll show you how to add your YouTube video to your website so that you can increase your SEO and get the biggest bang for your buck. Don't worry, it's just 5 simple steps:
Corporate Video Production can cost as much or as little or as your budget allows. Think of video production like a house. You can build a house for as little as $500 or you can buy Copper Beech Farms (sounds quaint) but Copper Beech Farms is currently the most expensive home in America ($190,000,000). With that in mind, let's examine the video production cost: Felton Interactive Group recently produced a corporate marketing video for the law firm of Molden & Holley. The video is designed to give viewers a quick overview of the firm's practice areas and educate them on what makes Molden & Holley unique. Corporate Marketing Videos (aka Corporate Profile Videos) are an effective way to promote any business. The videos can be shared on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIN and other forms of social media. By distributing the videos across a wide platform, companies are able to spread their marketing message far and wide. This attracts more viewers, which in turn leads to more customers. If we can help you with your Corporate Marketing Videos (Corporate Profile Videos) please don't hesitate to contact us.
Recently Felton Interactive Group {FIG} was challenged with crafting a unique television commercial for the law firm of Molden & Holley. The firm specializes in employment law and they wanted to highlight a few scenarios including: Wage & Hour Claims, Workplace Discrimination, and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. We realized very quickly that our biggest hurdle would be the sexual harassment segment. Let's explore:
THE CHALLENGE
Designing a sexual harassment scene for a commercial is not easy. If it's not done correctly, the scene could either be seen as "over-the-top" or "cheesy". We didn't want either. We wanted to craft a scene that conveyed a serious message and was believable. This scene was critical to the commercial.
THE SOLUTION
After a lot of internal discussion and rewritten scripts, we figured it out! We realized three things:
This combination of no dialogue, 'no villain', and shooting in black and white gave us the perfect mixture for creating an effective and attention grabbing scene. We've posted the commercial below...feel free to tell us your thoughts. Of course if we can help your business create a television commercial or business video, don't hesitate to contact us. ![]()
It is not enough to simply have a good product anymore.
Nowadays, marketing is the difference between a successful business and one that goes under. It provides you with a crucial opportunity to make a strong first impression and to set the stage of success in your company. Marketing allows you to identify and target your audience and market and bring their attention to your company and products. In recent years, video marketing has exploded exponentially as it grabs a viewer’s attention but doesn’t let them drift away like other marketing mediums that require you to read rather than just watch. Just because it works for some though, is it going to work for you too? Here are five tips for marketing while using video to help your small business: ![]()
Let’s say you’re enjoying the latest Britney Spears or 'Cuddly Cat' video and want to join in the conversation. Would you rather see comments from people you care about (including Lindsey or ERB themselves), or just whoever in the world was last to post?
Recently YouTube stated that 'better commenting' is coming to YouTube. Starting this week, when you’re watching a video on YouTube, you’ll see comments sorted by people you care about first. If you post videos on your channel, you also have more tools to moderate welcome and unwelcome conversations. This way, YouTube comments will become conversations that matter to you. ![]()
There's been no shortage of press coverage surrounding the colossal failure of the Health Insurance Marketplace's website, HealthCare.gov. From day one the site has failed to work properly and even Consumer Reports warned people to stay away.
Last week, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testified before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on the failings of HealthCare.gov, making her the highest ranked official to be questioned over the website flaws. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., asked the hardline cost questions to Sebelius. How much has the HealthCare.gov website cost? Sebelius gave straight answers. "We have spent about $118 million on the website itself and about $56 million has been expended on other IT to support the web." Some $197 million has been obligated to CGI -- one of the major contract vendors in charge of the entire website application -- to last through March 2014. About $104 million of that has already been expended, Sebelius said. The website "has not lived up to the expectations of the American people and is not acceptable," said Sebelius in the hearing. "We are committed to fixing these problems as soon as possible." The federal health insurance marketplace website was down again last night and yet again this morning, inviting further criticism from Republican lawmakers. Committee Chairman Fred Upton, (R-Mich.) pointed out, "the website was supposed to be the easy part." Consumers, Upton added, are "now being forced to go onto an inept website." Well now Felton Interactive Group {FIG}, a video production and website design studio in Atlanta, is offering the federal government a redesign of the flawed website for only $3,000,000. Ryan Felton, the founder of {FIG} states, "We'll be happy to provide the government with a broken website for a fraction of the cost they've already wasted. This new useless site will function exactly the current useless site, but will save the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars". --------- --------- Hopefully by now you've realized this offer (like HealthCare.gov) is a joke. But the government's website dilemma is not uncommon. It highlights what happens when businesses (or governments) fail to plan their website strategy. Lack of planning leads to cost overruns, broken systems, and websites that are severely lacking in design and functionality. If you're planning on launching or redesigning your website, get in touch with us and we'll make sure you don't become HealthCare.gov Part II. THE WEB.COM STORY
Recently, Felton Interactive Group {FIG} got a surprise call from Web.com. Web.com is one of the largest website design companies in the country, and certainly competes with {FIG} for web design clients.
Web.com wasn't calling to pick a fight or say 'na-na-boo-boo', they were calling to hire us. They were attending the PGA TOUR Championship event in Atlanta and wanted to show their visitors a customer testimonial video. We worked with Web.com to identify the right customer and then coordinated the entire process. The end result was a great video that highlighted Web.com's abilities, showcased one of their customers, and made their visitors at the PGA event take notice. (We have it on good authority that Tiger Woods liked the video!) If {FIG} is willing to take such good care of our "competitors", imagine how we'll take care of you. SEE THE VIDEO HERE |
